Dhanya began her classical training at age four under her mother and guru, Mrs. Sudha Sasikumar (disciple of Mrs. Meera Venugopal). After completing her Arangetram in 2012, she pursued formal, full-time study in India through an ICCR scholarship at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, earning both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Bharatanatyam.
Her approach bridges authentic traditional adherence (Bani) with modern psychological understanding of student development. Every child and adult learner is trained in precise technique, physical alignment, rhythm theory, and emotive expression without taking shortcuts.
